Penn State leaders are pedophiles criminals
Jerry Sandusky used his charity, The Second Mile, which worked with abused boys, to find new victims. His acts were some of the worst acts a person can do to another. Each time he abused a child, he disguised himself as someone who cared and loved them. He was a successful role model who confirmed to the child that he was the type of child to be abused. He exerted his power, money, community trust to perform numerous abusive acts which will change these children forever. Schools are supposed to prepare kids for success. Penn State prepared these children for lives and legacy's of mental problems. If Penn State does not help kids, then Penn State should close and stop accepting public funds. Both the school and the charity are responsible for the abuse these kids suffered for so many years. Some of the kids said there was inappropriate touching, but they, personally were not touched more intimately. Even these kids will have life long repercussions about not telling and about allowing the intimate touching to occur in the first place.
The students of Penn State failed a major life test when they rioted to keep these criminals in their educational positions. The students feel the kids are not important and sided with the rich and powerful. Even if the criminal is a friend, you must fulfill a general life duty and responsibility to protect kids and stop criminal activity. Even if the criminal can get you a great job in the future, you must side with protecting kids. The students of Penn State must learn this lesson before they enter the real world. Penn State should cancel all of the remaining games and require students to take ethics classes every year. The people worried about the cash say the university needs the money to fund other programs. I think to focus the Penn State community on the criminal and amoral issues the Penn State community must halt all activities and discuss the problem daily.
Everyone who touched the charity and the athletic persons involved must be immediately removed. This is an example that all of the Penn State students will remember for the rest of their lives. This must not be trivialized for anyone. We demand action. Penn State does take federal funds, so you and I are involved also, even if you do not live in Pennsylvania. Paterno did a lot of good in the past, but his failures will be his legacy. It is not OK to help some kids and allow others to be sacrificed and sodomized. Especially, when for Paterno, the effort to help the abused boys would have been so easy and minimal to do. So hard for the depressed abused kids, would have been so easy for Paterno. PaterNO = no father.
These kids should be given in their civil awards lifetime mental health care, free tutorial help, and full scholarships to the colleges of their choice for undergraduate and graduate schools, along with their financial awards.
This case points out boys are more frequently abused and sodomized than girls. Mothers are often looking for that male role model to help their sons with life issues. Mothers must be vigilant.
