Conrad Murray at Penn State and Syracuse University

Conrad Murray - Coach Jerry Sandusky - Coach Bernie Fine - Coach Paterno - Mrs Laurie Fine

The penalty phase of the Conrad Murray trial today for the death of Michael Jackson had some notes that bound Dr. Conrad Murray and the above named pedophilia defendants. Murray's attorneys stated that Dr.  Murray did a lot of good over his lifetime, and especially during the last eight years, where he was helping low-income people who had cardiac problems. Dr. Murray saved lives.

Nevertheless, the judge, Michael Pastor, threw the book at Murray stating although Murray did many wonderful things, his bad repetitive actions in the treatment of Michael Jackson and his lack of remorse, compounded by the many lies and hiding of evidence made Murray a very real and big danger to society.

I say this because the students and staff at Penn State University and the students and staff at Syracuse University seem to negate the sodomy and many harms created by these pedophiles against the young children, who were victims, and state the great way the perverts were able to coach teams and make money allow them to be above the law and able to abuse others at will. Many in the Penn State University and Syracuse University communities have no understanding of the ethical standards that are required by those who accept positions of responsibility, like doctors, attorneys, congressmen, parents, teachers and, yes, even coaches - even if they win and are rich. Predators watch kids closely and pounce on those who have family problems or who want to be a part of a group, like the team. The kids are groomed for extended periods of time, then the predator, having exerted his/her power, begins the crimes - over and over again.

I urge all who feel the victim children deserved the sodomy and those who feel the coaches should be allowed to have their sodomy and others abuses overlooked, to listen to the words of Judge Pastor today. I am sure some students at Penn State University and some at Syracuse University will want to become doctors someday. Listen to the words of the judge and apply it to your own situation. You, in the end, are not judged by the good things you did in the past, but by your on-going, intentional, repetitive bad behavior that injured, and in some cases, killed others- especially if there is no remorse, honesty, caring or evidence of change. Look at these victims and examine how you would feel if the victim was your child or your brother/ sister, or your mother. Child predators are a very real danger to society and the victims tend to have life-long problems..

Help cure this devilish cult of crime and silence and work towards making Penn State University, Syracuse University, our churches, and other places safe and healthy and fit for kids.

Humans on display in Paris

PARIS -- It's a queasy experience, viewing chained tribal dancers do a white man's bidding, or African women stripped and photographed to feed European curiosity.
Until just a few generations ago, this is how most white people learned about those with skin of a different shade. A new Paris exhibit examines how for centuries, colonizers plucked villagers from Africa, the Americas or the South Pacific and put them on display half a world away. The demeaning tradition shaped racist attitudes that linger today.

Curator Lilian Thuram, a former soccer star and now anti-racism advocate, hopes the exhibit at the Quai Branly Museum in Paris makes people question deep-held beliefs about the "other."

Newt Gingrich and Herbert Cain..VERY BAD HUSBANDS

I remember Newt Gingrich had problems similar or worse than candidate Herbert Cain with sex and adultery. I'm told Newt had four wives. So, I looked him up on the internet and I remember some of these stories. As we discuss the candidate Cain allegations, we need to discuss all of the adulterers. The allegations:

Quotes:

"We had oral sex. He prefers that modus operandi because then he can say, 'I never slept with her.'" - Anne Manning (who was also married at the time.)
"We would have won in 1974 if we could have kept him out of the office, screwing her [a young volunteer] on the desk." - Dot Crews, his campaign scheduler at the time
[In the book] "Men Who Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them", [I] "found frightening pieces that related to my own life." - Newt.
"I think you can write a psychological profile of me that says I found a way to immerse my insecurities in a cause large enough to justify whatever I wanted it to" - Newt, speaking to Gail Sheehy.
"She isn't young enough or pretty enough to be the President's wife." - Newt, on his first wife.
"I don't want him to be president and I don't think he should be." - Newt's wife Marianne.
"If the country today were to move to the left, Newt would sense it before it started happening and lead the way." - Dot Crews, his campaign scheduler throughout the 1970s.

Adultery:

Sex on the Desk - Oral Sex is More Easily DeniedSeveral newspapers are now reporting that Newt Gingrich is dating and basically living with Callista Bisek, a "willowy blond Congressional aide 23 years his junior." Biske, 33, has been spending nights at Gingrich's apartment near the Capitol and has her own key. In an amazing act of hypocrisy, Gingrich was apparently dating Bisek all during Clinton-Lewinsky adultery scandal, even as he proclaimed family values and bitterly criticized the President for his adultery.
Reporters and other Washington insiders have known about this relationship since 1994, even before Gingrich became Speaker of the House, but did not have any solid proof to report. In 1995, Vanity Fair magazine described Bisek as Gingrich's "frequent breakfast companion." Gingrich was married to Marianne Gingrich during all of that time, and just filed for divorce in August 1999.
Newt is apparently trying to create a new hybrid form, Christian adultery. According to MSNBC, Bisek sings in the National Shrine Choir, and Newt would often wait for her at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, listening to her sing while he read the Bible.
This is hardly the first time Newt has cheated, either. "It was common knowledge that Newt was involved with other women during his [first] marriage to Jackie. Maybe not on the level of John Kennedy. But he had girlfriends -- some serious, some trivial." -- Dot Crews, his campaign scheduler throughout the 70s. One woman, Anne Manning, has come forward and confirmed a relationship with him during the 1976 campaign. "We had oral sex. He prefers that modus operandi because then he can say, 'I never slept with her.'"
Kip Carter, his former campaign treasurer, was walking Newt's daughters back from a football game one day and cut across a driveway where he saw a car. "As I got to the car, I saw Newt in the passenger seat and one of the guys' wives with her head in his lap going up and down. Newt kind of turned and gave me this little-boy smile. Fortunately, Jackie Sue and Kathy were a lot younger and shorter then."

Family Values? Pressing Wife for Divorce in the Hospital:

"He walked out in the spring of 1980.... By September, I went into the hospital for my third surgery. The two girls came to see me, and said, "Daddy is downstairs. Could he come up?" When he got there, he wanted to discuss the terms of the divorce while I was recovering from my surgery." - Jackie, his first wife.

Dead-Beat Dad:

The hospital visit wasn't the end of it, either. Jackie had to take Newt to court to get him to contribute for bills, as utilities were about to be cut off.

Draft Dodger:

Though he relentlessly pushes military spending and talks like a bigtime hawk, Gingrich avoided the Vietnam War through a combination of student and family deferments. (He married one of his teachers at age 19).

==============================

Sounds like Newt Gingrich will have to be eliminated too. Adultery while your wife is dying from cancer reminds me of Senator John Edwards having a baby by his girlfriend while Elizabeth was dying. God Bless you Elizabeth.

Welcome United States of EUROPE

The euro, the common EU currency, has been around for 12 years and things are not going well. Some say the EU "has 10 days at most" to avoid collapse. One proposed idea to solve the fiscal crisis would have countries cede some control over their budgets to a central European authority. YIPE!! Another United States.  The proposal calls for a fiscal union of the euro countries and the creation of a powerful common treasury.

Unlike the United States, which has centralized institutions in Washington for raising taxes and spending money, the euro nations have 17 independent treasuries with little oversight from Brussels, the headquarters of the EU.

Germany and France fearful of encountering increased problems from weaker countries, have promised to propose measures that will make the 17 euro countries operate under strict and enforceable rules, so that no single country can wreak continent-wide damage. Last week, Germany tried to auction $8 billion worth of its national bonds but it could persuade investors to buy only $5.2 billion.

Among the 10 countries who did not adopt the EU currency includes; Britain, Poland, and Sweden.

Native American Indians get more rights

(11-28) 11:11 PST Washington (AP) --
Ahead of a meeting Friday between President Barack Obama and hundreds of Native American leaders, the administration unveiled new rules for tribal lands that officials say will expedite home building and energy development.
The proposed changes — the first of its kind in 50 years — would open the door to badly-needed housing development on reservations, and for wind and solar energy projects that tribes have been eager to launch.
The plan gives Obama another boasting point for this week's meeting with leaders of the 565 federally-recognized tribes at the White House.
The president has appointed Native Americans to high level positions in his administration, signed laws to improve health care and law enforcement for Native Americans and resolved a long running lawsuit over royalties for minerals on tribal lands.
The Obama administration has held a number of meetings with tribes on the subject and provided draft proposals to leaders as the rules were being rewritten. Land on American Indian reservations cannot be bought and sold because it is held in trust by the federal government on behalf of the tribes. If a tribe or tribe member wants to build a house on it or use it for multifamily housing, a business or industry, the Interior Department must approve a "lease" of the land or mortgages.
The proposed changes would set time limits for the Bureau of Indian Affairs to approve such leases. Residential leases, subleases and mortgages would have to be approved in 30 days; leases for commercial or industrial development must be approved in 60 days. If the bureau does not meet the deadlines, leases would automatically be approved. Currently, there are no time limits.
The proposed rules apply only to land development and not to oil and gas and mining leases.
The administration has been pushing for renewable energy projects and working to advance solar and wind projects on public lands. It has given priority to 18 projects, including the Moapa Solar Project, which will be built mostly on Moapa Band of Paiutes tribal lands in Nevada.
Developing wind and solar energy projects has drawn interest from tribes around the country, Dossett said. Tribes can partner with companies and sell the energy produced back to power grids.
Willie said the changes should also help tribal members get mortgages more quickly. Under the current rules, government approval of mortgages can take two months to two years. With that kind of delay, getting the banking industry to see tribal members as a profitable market can be difficult, Willie said.
The rules will be open for public comment for 60 days beginning Tuesday. The administration also plans additional meetings with tribes on the proposed changes

Time for crabs_the edible ones

.
The commercial Dungeness crab season officially began today after central California crab fishermen and seafood processors agreed this morning to a price of $2.25 per pound for the spindly crustaceans.
"We'll have crab on the market by Wednesday or Thursday," said Larry Collins, head of the San Francisco Crab Boat Owners Association. "Get your salt water boiling."

After a record catch in 2010, expectations are high for another strong year. Commercial crab fisherman last year hauled in about 19 million pounds, blowing previous records out of the water.

Rasheed Davis and Lawrence Taylor rape and pedophiles

Gloria Allred is representing Christina Fierro, now age 18 in a civil suit against Lawrence Taylor now age 52 for a 2010 rape of Fierro in 2010. Former New York Giants player Lawrence Taylor was slammed today with a federal sex trafficking lawsuit filed by Christina Fierro, who was forced to prostitute herself to Taylor in a New York motel room in 2010. The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan, alleges Taylor "forced himself" on a "slight teenager who was visibly injured, shaken and crying, but expressly told him she did not want to engage in sex and tried to push his enormous body off hers.".  After she was raped she was given $300. Pimp Rasheed Davis, also a former player, forced Fierro into the situation. Rasheed Davis is currently in the New York jail.
Here is what the girl had to say to the New York Post in 2010:

“I told him (Rasheed Davis) I wasn’t going to the hotel, and he said, ‘You’re f- – -ing this up, it’s $300,” the frightened Bronx girl, 16, said Rasheed Davis, 36, screamed at her early Thursday (2010).
“He hit me in the face, so I covered my face,” said Fierro.
“He told me to tell him my name is Carmen and I’m 19 years old,” she said. “He told me repeatedly and I had to repeat it back to him.”
When she arrived at hotel in Suffern, “the lights were off and [Taylor] didn’t see my face was bruised,” the girl recounted. “Lawrence Taylor asked me my age and I told him I was 19.”
She said she feared for her life if she didn’t have sex with Taylor. Taylor is age 51.
“If I didn’t go through with it, [Lawrence Taylor] would’ve called Rasheed Davis and there would have been consequences,” she said. “God knows what would’ve happened if I didn’t go through with it.”
On the drive back to The Bronx, the girl frantically text-messaged her uncle about the alleged assault and prostitution.
After getting the message, her uncle called 911 and cops were waiting at Rasheed Davis’ home to arrest him.

Lawrence Taylor was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1999 and competed in ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." He had a highly publicized struggle with drug addiction and has had multiple legal run-ins since retiring from football. Based on the rape charges, Nutrisystem ended its endorsement deal with Taylor. In 2001, Taylor was convicted of possessing drug paraphernalia in New Jersey. The conviction stemmed from the September 1998 discovery in a hotel room of a butane torch and other materials commonly used to smoke crack. In 1996 and 1997, Lawrence Taylor was arrested in South Carolina and Florida on drug charges. In those cases, he either admitted his guilt or agreed to enter a pretrial intervention program. In 2000, Lawrence Taylor drew five years of federal probation for filing false tax returns and for tax evasion.

Police said the girl was reported missing by her family in March 2010 and had been staying with a 36-year-old parolee, Rasheed Davis, in the Bronx. The two met a few weeks ago at a Bronx bus stop, New York Police Department spokesman Paul Browne said.
"Rasheed Davis chats her up. She explains she doesn't have a place to stay. Davis provides one," police said. Davis then forced her to perform sexual favors for others, police said.
Early Thursday morning, Davis punched and kicked her, drove her to the hotel against her will and told her she had to have sex with Lawrence Taylor, police said. When she refused, Rasheed Davis handed her over to Lawrence Taylor, who sexually assaulted her. Lawrence Taylor paid her $300, which she gave to Rasheed Davis, her pimp, police said.
At some point, the girl sent text messages to her uncle spelling out what was happening. The uncle then went to the NYPD, Browne said.
Rasheed Davis was arrested on charges of unlawful imprisonment, assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He was sentenced in April 1994 to eight to 25 years in prison for first-degree manslaughter. He was paroled in March 2008.
Lawrence Taylor, 52, was initially criminally charged with statutory rape in the incident, but pleaded guilty in March 2011  to sexual misconduct and patronizing a prostitute. Lawrence Taylor, who now lives in Florida, was sentenced to six years probation.
The pimp, convicted killer Rasheed Davis, in August was sentenced to seven years in prison by a federal judge for the criminal case.

Democrats need to win in 2012

Democrat Barney Frank has announced he will not seek re-election to Congress in 2012. At age 71, his exit is mainly due to a huge number of new constituents being placed into his district after the realignment process. So far, 17 Democrats have announced they will not seek re-election. Only six Republicans have announced they are retiring. Democrats faced an uphill battle in 2012, needing to gain 25 additional seats to win a majority in the house. With the retirements, Democrats must work even harder to get enough House seats to influence legislation and, possibly, win a House majority.

Bernie and Laurie Fine admit also pedophiles

Coach Bernie Fine and his wife, Laurie Fine, of Syracuse University, New York, jump on the pedophile bandwagon. A former student spoke up to support other allegations of pedophilia by Syracuse's coach Fine. As the story unfolds coach Fine's wife was also involved as a voyeur. Laurie Fine watched the child being molested through windows. She admits to watching through a basement window. She made no effort to stop the molestation. In fact, she was so stimulated by the molestation, she later had sex with the boy too.
I want the message loud and clear, that people who are in positions of trust with our children can never molest, sodomize, or adopt the kids as "lovers." This child was set up from his adolescence, or earlier, and groomed for the eventual molestation. He will now need mental health care for years, to help him deal with his situation. I am also appalled how these adults are also calling all of the kids who are revealing past molestations liars. This public abuse and humiliation makes it harder for other kids and adults to come forward. Let's face it, many of the kids who were abused probably had problems with authority figures in the future, including the police. Many of the molested kids drift into depression and anxiety disorders.
This cult of child molestation is still being uncovered and we need to show some compassion to those who were injured, abused and neglected.
Oh yeah, and coach Bernie Fine needs to be removed from the Hall of Fame immediately.

Afghanistan abuse of women

Kabul (CNN) -- The ordeal of Gulnaz did not simply begin and end with the physical attack of her rape. The rape began a years-long nightmare of further pain, culminating in an awful choice she must now make.
Even two years later, Gulnaz remembers the smell and state of her rapist's clothes when he came into the house when her mother left for a brief visit to the hospital.
"He had filthy clothes on as he does metal and construction work. When my mother went out, he came into my house and he closed doors and windows. I started screaming, but he shut me up by putting his hands on my mouth," she said.
The rapist was her cousin's husband.
After the attack, she hid what happened as long as she could. But soon she began vomiting in the mornings and showing signs of pregnancy. It was her attacker's child.
In Afghanistan, this brought her not sympathy, but prosecution. Aged just 19, she was found guilty by the courts of sex outside of marriage -- adultery -- and sentenced to twelve years in jail.
Now inside Kabul's Badam Bagh jail, she and her child are serving her sentence together.
I started screaming, but he shut me up by putting his hands on my mouth
Gulnaz
Sitting with the baby in her lap, her face carefully covered, she explains the only choice she has that would end her incarceration.
The only way around the dishonor of rape, or adultery in the eyes of Afghans, is to marry her attacker. This will, in the eyes of some, give her child a family and restore her honor.
Incredibly, this is something that Gulnaz is willing to do.
"I was asked if I wanted to start a new life by getting released, by marrying this man", she told CNN in an exclusive interview. "My answer was that one man dishonored me, and I want to stay with that man."
Tending to her daughter in the jail's cold, she added: "My daughter is a little innocent child. Who knew I would have a child in this way. A lot of people told me that after your daughter's born give it to someone else, but my aunt told me to keep her as proof of my innocence."
Gulnaz's choice is stark. Women in her situation are often killed for the shame their ordeal has brought the community. She is at risk, some say, from her attacker's family.
We found Gulnaz's convicted rapist in a jail across town. While he denied raping her, he agreed that she would likely be killed if she gets out of jail. But he insists that it will be her family, not his, that will kill her, "out of shame."
Whether threatened by his family or hers, for now, jail may be the safest place for her.
Shockingly, Gulnaz's case is common in Afghanistan.
CNN asked a spokesman for the prosecutor to comment on the case. The reply was that there were hundreds such cases and the office would need time to look into it.
I was asked if I wanted to start a new life by getting released, by marrying this man
Gulnaz
But Gulnaz's plight has found international attention because of a dispute between the European Union and a team of documentary makers hired to report on women's rights in Afghanistan.
The documentary makers filmed a lengthy report on Gulnaz and other women, showing her talking openly about her fate. They showed the film to the EU, who were paying for it as part of a project on female rights here. After viewing it, the EU decided to spike the project.
The EU said it was concerned about the safety of the women in the film: they could be identified and might face reprisals. The filmmakers however suspect -- citing an email leaked from the EU delegation -- that the EU might also be motivated by its sensitive relationship with Afghan justice institutions, since he film shows the Afghan justice system in a very unflattering light.
The leaked email says: "The delegation also has to consider its relations with [Afghan] Justice institutions in connection with the other work that it is doing in the sector."
The EU Ambassador to Afghanistan, Vygaudas Usackas, rejected any political motivation in asking for the film not to be shown.
"What I am concerned about is that situation of the women. About the security and well being, that's of paramount importance, the key criteria according to which I, as representative of the European Union will judge," said the ambassdor.
Under Afghan law, Gulnaz has been judged an adulterer. Despite the ongoing dispute over her story, her predicament has not changed. She faces the hideous choice of 12 years in jail or marriage to her rapist and risk death. It's a marriage she says she'll accept, so her child can continue to have a mother.

Congress fails AGAIN

How can America rise from the recession and decrease the deficit if the Congress, Democrats and Republicans, can not make any decisions? The congressional Republicans want to protect the wealthiest 2% of Americans and will not allow any increase of the multimillionaires and billionaires.
Now there will be $2 trillion dollars tax of automatic financial cuts of domestic and defense spending starting in 2014. Family financial supports will also end. This will be a hard hit and no one will be happy! Congress must talk and arrive at a balanced plan. By not acting and not making a decision , Congress has voted for tax increases for everyone, including the wealthiest. Everyone will pay $1,000 or more in taxes because of our dysfunctional Congress.
Today, Congress, as is the norm, is taking a holiday work break. Representing constituents in Congress is a voluntary position. If you can not do the job, you need to stop going to Congress and get another job or start a business in your local area to decrease unemployment.
The minute people get elected to Congress, they begin the political games and sell out the local interests in favor of high-paying lobbyists. We saw that with Jeff Denham's election. After he won, he went to Washington, DC and threw a private $250,000 party for Republicans and lobbyists, using money from the Central Valley - one of the poorest places in California.
Register to vote and vote them OUT!!!!!

Penn State investigation a farce FBI NOW

I have seen no evidence that the local Pennsylvania police are moving forward in a real investigation of the pedophiles leading Penn State. I have not seen any warrants served to confiscate all computers to evaluate for child pornography. Yes, I include the homes and offices of Paterno. I have not seen removal of all office things in the leadership offices on campus, and elsewhere for investigation. I have not heard anything about transportation of the minors to other locations. Have they checked the vacation areas of these sodomists?
I feel the FBI must step in immediately. I am sure these pedophiles are destroying mounds of evidence. were drugs used on the kids/ were the kids ployed with alcohol. Were date-rape drugs used. Are there pictures on the internet? Are there videos on Youtube or some of the international child porn sites?
We want a better investigation NOW!!!

UC Davis abuses students roaches

I was shocked at how poorly UC Davis treated its own students when they decided to join the 99%ers protest.  On the news I saw the students sitting or crouched down on the ground as a large policeman carrying a large canister of orange mace walked along the student lines spraying them heavily with mace. he was very calm and "matter of fact." The students were only sitting. There was no aggressive movement (or any movement except to escape fumes). The students were coughing. I was taken back to the images of spraying roaches - something you hate and may fear. Does UC Davis consider their students roaches? As they totally disposable? It did not help when the head of the university said she would investigate in her thick German accent. This a throw back to the gassing of the Jews or the tear gassing and shooting of Blacks as they marched for equal rights in the 1960s.
Our universities must teach students how to stand for their beliefs. Gassing and other abuse is totally unacceptable. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!

These are our kids and our future leaders. I hope all will carry this memory as a reminder of the misuse of police force by "scary labels" put onto ordinary citizens. The officers falsely claimed they were afraid because they were "surrounded" by activists. Yes, the officer was walking past kids sitting on the ground, immobile, and the officer sprayed them like roaches. Sometimes people do not listen to commands, especially crowds, but macing our sons and daughters in this situation is unbelievable - this was not a prison riot.

Pennsylvania pedophile priests too

The TV news revealed today the the Catholic church was found guilty of on-going years of sodomy on boys about ten years ago. The church paid one boy who sued just under $2 million dollars. The church then sent the priests to different parishes.
It is amazing how cult-like this behavior continues underground. The boys are kept quiet. If we want better husbands ans fathers, we must stop the child abuse.

Penn State..another pedophile???

It has come out in the media that Penn State's Sandusky has hired an attorney who is also a pedophile.  The news reported Sandusky's attorney had impregnated a girl under age 18. WHAT IS GOING ON AT PENN STATE...and elsewhere??? Keep looking...this is going to get even more sordid.

Dr Conrad Murray and Michael Jackson - my view

Dr. Conrad Murray's continual denial of any culpability for Michael Jackson's death is ridiculous. It just shows how some people can create their own world and live totally is unreality. Yes, he must get away from patients. He has spent so many years blaming his patients for everything, he can not accept responsibility for his own improper actions and misconceptions. Every doctor must have the ability to admit mistakes and strive to do better.

First, Conrad Murray says he did not know Michael Jackson was a drug abuser. This is unbelievable. Everyone knew Jackson had some sort of drug problem. Just because Michael did not use the exact words, "I am a drug addict," can not erase the fact that Jackson just by demanding Propofol gave a statement (to anyone who worked with addicts) "I am definitely a drug addict." Jackson only wanted Murray because Jackson found he could be easily manipulated by money and access.

Murray gives a million reasons why he did not call 911. The truth is, his girlfriend was on his cell phone and he could have easily told her to call 911 because Michael was having a problem. No excuses - the 911call was a must because Murray was totally unprepared. As a cardiologist, Murray must have extra portable EKG machines and monitors in his office, yet none were used. This expertise is what Jackson was paying for. He did not want "crack house care." Murray never checked Jackson's medical history. Murray never did lab work, an EKG or chest x-ray. I knew the story would be bad after Murray said he applied lotion to Jackson's body after Jackson showered. This is very abnormal - especially for a cardiologist. Why did Jackson not apply his own lotion - too tired?

I am going to go over only the last actions of Murray on that sorrowful day. I will only cover the time starting from Murray consenting to give Propofol. The reports are that the oxygen tank in the room was empty and the rescue breathing apparatus was not in place. These was an oxygen mask on the floor, but no statements that the mask was ever used. So, before you give a medication that could cause a major problem, as a doctor, he had a duty to have all of the rescue apparatus assembled and working and the rescue medications out. Actually, there are a lot of people who get these important jobs, such as air control operators, who fall asleep when they are supposed to be monitoring a situation. So, Murray should have had a nurse in the room also for back-up and assistance, as needed. Watching a person sleep can be very boring and the mind can wander. Murray takes no medical notes for over two months. Murray never took Jackson's vital signs or a quick EKG. This is crazy and ridiculous. It is also illegal to secretly record patients. Consent was not given for the recording of Michael or for the medications and procedures..

Granted, Propofol is short acting, but we can not trust Murray's words as to what happened in the room. Only a crazy person would order gallons of Propofol over a few months for a single patient for poorly monitored daily bedroom IV administration.

Michael returned home at 1 o'clock AM from the Staples rehearsal. Murray admits Jackson looked "dead" before he gave him the Propofol ("like in Thriller"), yet no physical examination. Murray admitted he gave enough medication to Jackson  "to put an elephant to sleep" - before he gave the Propofol. Around 2 AM the drugs started -  valium, lorezapam, medazalam, versed and who knows what else.

Murray said he gave the IV Propofol, felt it had worn off, so he went to the bathroom and made a phone call. He never checked his breathing or heart. This is just crazy. If you must go to the bathroom, you go BEFORE you administer a drug. Jackson wants to sleep, the last thing he wants is to hear Murray jabbering on the phone to his girlfriend. No wonder Jackson had insomnia, the environment was totally non-conducive to sleep. Jackson never thought he would be abandoned. By the time Murray ambled back into the bedroom, still talking to a girlfriend, Jackson's heart rate was said to be 120 and Jackson was not breathing. All Jackson needed was respirations  Instead, Murray gives mouth-to-mouth, good only if you are a pedestrian and find someone unconscious - never used by medical professionals. Then, unbelievably, he gives chest compressions. This was the totally wrong thing to do, Michael had a heartbeat. By giving chest compressions, Murray stopped Jackson's heart. Now, probably with cracked ribs, Jackson is a total Code Blue and a few minutes from death. Still, only Murray is present and no respirations.

The remaining acts of calling a housekeeper, whose main concern was getting a smoothie in the refrigerator for Jackson,  for assistance and getting Jackson's scared son is an unbelievable scene to picture. Delaying getting all of the security officers to help and call 911 and more, is terrible, but too late. Jackson is dead. Murray tries to blame Security Officer Alverez for the emergency help delays. It is normal for a non-medical person to be shocked that his employer and mega-star is getting CPR in the bedroom and now Murray is demanding Alvarez give CPR, and call 911, and clean the room. Alvarez bears no fault.

Let's say there was a chance to save Jackson twenty minutes later. Murray reports to the emergency medical team that he witnessed Jackson "go down." To emergency responders, this means a heart attack, or similar event - NOT drug overdose. So, the emergency response team was treating for the wrong terminal event. They think he collapsed from a cardiac event in front of Murray after a stressful and long rehearsal. So, the emergency team is not fully treating the patient because Murray lied about how Jackson got into this situation.

Murray's denials are maddening. His claims are absurd. He had no knowledge or skills with addiction or neurology. He was used to treating low-income seniors for chronic heart problems. He was used to having patients die. He has no business getting involved as a physician with any other patients in the future.

Michael could never have completed this run of shows. He had been avoiding performances for years. Jackson looked terrible at his last child-abuse trial - thin, coming in his pajamas, getting assistance with walking and even going to a hospital. Murray had the ability to change the rehearsal schedule, as the doctor. Instead he worked against Michael by pushing him to persist with the schedule.

What killed Michael Jackson? Failure to plan for an emergency, poor medical care, multi-drug overload with the doctor distracted and abandoning the patient, rendering improper medical rescue care, failure to call 911 immediately, and abandoning care again as the doctor cleaned the room and ran for help (instead of the cell phone), and false reports to emergency rescuers as to the true medical situation.

Penn State leaders are pedophiles criminals

Jerry Sandusky used his charity, The Second Mile, which worked with abused boys, to find new victims. His acts were some of the worst acts a person can do to another. Each time he abused a child, he disguised himself as someone who cared and loved them. He was a successful role model who confirmed to the child that he was the type of child to be abused. He exerted his power, money, community trust to perform numerous abusive acts which will change these children forever. Schools are supposed to prepare kids for success. Penn State prepared these children for lives and legacy's of mental problems. If Penn State does not help kids, then Penn State should close and stop accepting public funds. Both the school and the charity are  responsible for the abuse these kids suffered for so many years. Some of the kids said there was inappropriate touching, but they, personally were not touched more intimately. Even these kids will have life long repercussions about not telling and about allowing the intimate touching to occur in the first place.
The students of Penn State failed a major life test when they rioted to keep these criminals in their educational positions. The students feel the kids are not important and sided with the rich and powerful. Even if the criminal is a friend, you must fulfill a general life duty and responsibility to protect kids and stop criminal activity. Even if the criminal can get you a great job in the future, you must side with protecting kids. The students of Penn State must learn this lesson before they enter the real world. Penn State should cancel all of the remaining games and require students to take ethics classes every year. The people worried about the cash say the university needs the money to fund other programs. I think to focus the Penn State community on the criminal and amoral issues the Penn State community must halt all activities and discuss the problem daily.
Everyone who touched the charity and the athletic persons involved must be immediately removed. This is an example that all of the Penn State students will remember for the rest of their lives. This must not be trivialized for anyone. We demand action. Penn State does take federal funds, so you and I are involved also, even if you do not live in Pennsylvania. Paterno did a lot of good in the past, but his failures will be his legacy. It is not OK to help some kids and allow others to be sacrificed and sodomized. Especially, when for Paterno, the effort to help the abused boys would have been so easy and minimal to do. So hard for the depressed abused kids, would have been so easy for Paterno. PaterNO = no father.
These kids should be given in their civil awards lifetime mental health care, free tutorial help, and full scholarships to the colleges of their choice for undergraduate and graduate schools, along with their financial awards.
This case points out boys are more frequently abused and sodomized than girls. Mothers are often looking for that male role model to help their sons with life issues. Mothers must be vigilant.

History of London:crime,unemployment

With the rise in population jobs were not always easy to find. In Tudor times there were thousands of people without jobs wandering around looking for work. There were also disabled beggars. There were also people who pretended to be mad or disabled in order to beg. Tudor governments tolerated people who were disabled begging. However they did not tolerate able-bodied people without jobs wandering around. They saw such 'sturdy vagabonds' as a threat to law and order.

Since the 14th century there had been laws against vagabonds but in 1530 a new law was passed. The old and disabled poor were to be given licences to beg. However anyone roaming without a job was tied to a cart in the nearest market town and whipped till they were bloody. They were then forced to return to the parish where they had been born or where they had lived for the last 3 years.

A law of 1536 was more severe. Vagabonds were whipped the first time. However for a second offence they part of their right ear was cut off (so they could be easily identified wherever they went). For a third offence they were hanged. However officers of the law were reluctant to carry out such draconian measures. A law of 1547 chided them for 'foolish pity and mercy'. Under this law anyone who roamed or loitered for 3 days without a job must offer to work for any employer for any wages he was willing to pay. If nobody would employ him then he must offer to work just for food and drink. If he did not do this then anyone could take him to the Justice of the Peace (local magistrate). The vagabond was then made that person's slave for 2 years. If he ran away during that time he was branded and made a slave for life. This terrible law was abolished in 1550. Once again flogging was made the punishment for vagrancy.

Furthermore every parish was commanded to build a workhouse for the old and disabled poor. They would be housed in the workhouse and made to do any work they were capable of.

However in 1572 the law was made more severe again. For a first offence a vagabond would be whipped and burned in the right ear with a red-hot iron. (Unless some kindly employer was willing to give him a job). For a second offence he would be hanged (again unless an employer gave him a job). For a third offence he would be hanged regardless.

In 1576 the law regarding the old and disabled was changed again. This time the parishes were ordered to supply them with materials like flax, hemp, wool and iron. They were to do any work they could in their own homes. Any old or disabled person who refused to work was sent to a House or Correction where conditions were very harsh.

However in 1597 the death penalty for vagrancy was abolished.

The history of poverty

TUDOR PUNISHMENTS

In the 16th century prison was seldom used as a punishment. Instead people were held in prison until trial then some physical punishment was meted out. Tudor punishments were simple but harsh. In the 16th century minor crimes were often punished by the pillory or the stocks. The pillory was a wooden frame on a pole with holes through which a person's head and hands were placed. The frame was then locked and the person was subjected to humiliation and ridicule. The stocks was a wooden frame with holes through which a person's feet were placed and they were humiliated in the same way. Other common Tudor punishments were flogging and branding with red hot irons.

More serious crimes were punished by death. Beheading was reserved for the wealthy. Ordinary people were usually hanged. (They were suspended with a rope round their neck until they were strangled to death).

In 1401 a law in England made burning the penalty for heresy. In the 16th century during the reign of Mary (1553-1558) nearly 300 Protestants were burned to death in England. Sometimes a person about to be burned was strangled with a rope first to spare them pain. In 1531 Henry VIII passed an act allowing poisoners to be boiled alive but the act was repealed after his death in 1547.

In Tudor England the punishment for treason was hanging, drawing and quartering. The person was drawn on a hurdle pulled by a horse to the place of execution. They were hanged (strangled by being suspended by a rope) but when they were still alive and sometimes conscious they were cut down. The executioner cut open their stomach and 'drew out' their entrails. Finally the person was beheaded and his body was cut into quarters.

Pimps, Johns, Prostitutes, Police in Spain

In 2003, Spain’s Institute of National Statistics (INE) showed that just over one in four Spanish men under the age of 49 had experienced sex with a prostitute – with one in fifteen having done so within the previous year.  This was backed up by Maribel Montano of the ruling PSOE party who claimed in 2007 that: ‘every day 1.5 million men pay for sex’ in Spain.  In fact, there are an estimated 300,000 prostitutes working in Spain possibly turning over around 40 billion Euros per year, which roughly equates to the country’s education budget.  For good reason, Spain is sometimes dubbed the ‘Brothel of Europe’.
Certainly, the openness and extent of prostitution can be a surprise to north Europeans who still cling to the myth of Spain as a prim and proper, old-fashioned, hard line, Catholic country.  This notion is swiftly dispelled as you drive at night along any main road out of a large town or city.  In the outskirts, and often close to industrial estates, you will come across brightly lit buildings that normally have a garish neon sign pronouncing ‘Club’.  These are brothels in all but name and house, sometimes, up to a hundred or more prostitutes.  Called Clubes de Alterne (socialising clubs) by the Spanish, their location and nature are openly known and tolerated by the police, authorities and local population.
The clubs, of course, vary hugely and span the whole spectrum of prostitution from its lowest depths to a brothel system that is reasonably fair and transparent within a deeply emotive industry.  At their worst, the Clubes de Alterne are controlled by criminal gangs who have trafficked women from Third World countries on the promise of conventional work.  Deprived of their passports and physically intimidated, the women are forced to work as prostitutes, whilst earning their bosses huge sums.  Indeed, the International Labour Organisation in 2005 calculated that a forced sex worker would earn 67,200 Euros a year in an industrialised country.

Yes, our security is at risk

The kidnapping of MLB player Wilson Ramos is an example of why allowing "special rich people" to bypass our elevated TSA screenings will not work. I am sure Ramos was told his family in Venezuela would be harmed if he does not help the gang who kidnapped him. He may even have had childhood dealings with current gang members. Who knows what really happened. He could have been a message for other players, that the gangs can successfully kidnap at will. Three other MLB baseball players from Venezuela have already had family members kidnapped. Will Ramos have to testify in court about hie kidnappers...and will he? In many countries, the police will aid the gangs for cash. Yes, we are less safe in the US - thanks Congress.
Below is an AP article on the kidnapping.

CARACAS, VENEZUELA (AP)
Venezuelan police rescued Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos on Friday, two days after he was kidnapped, officials announced.

Ramos rescued, authorities say
Justice Minister Tareck El Aissami said on state television that Ramos was ''safe and sound'' and that he was rescued by police. He said the circumstances weren't immediately clear.

Information Minister Andres Izarra initially reported the rescue via Twitter, saying Ramos was ''found alive by security forces in mountainous zone.''

Armed men seized Ramos at gunpoint Wednesday night outside his home in a working-class neighborhood in the city of Valencia. Authorities said Thursday that they had found a stolen SUV used by the kidnappers abandoned in a nearby town.

The abduction was the first known kidnapping of a major league baseball player in a country that has dozens of players on big league rosters in the US, and it brought a renewed focus on worsening violent crime in Venezuela.

Security has increasingly become a concern for Venezuelan players and their families as a wave of kidnappings has hit the wealthy as well as the middle class. Relatives of several Venezuelan major leaguers have previously been kidnapped for ransom, and in two cases have been killed.

Bodyguards typically shadow major leaguers when they return to their homeland to play in Venezuela's winter baseball league, but it was unclear what precautions, if any, Ramos was taking while at his family's home.

Major League Baseball officials said it was the first kidnapping of a major leaguer that they could recall.

Polls consistently say rampant crime is the top worry of Venezuelans. The country has one of the highest murder rates in Latin America, and the vast majority of crimes go unsolved. The number of kidnappings has soared in recent years.

"Are We Less Safe"- Article

Here is an article which talks about how to bypass airline security. I discussed this in my "Are We Safe" article.

=======================================

Tired of waiting in line and taking off your shoes, coat and belt at airport security checkpoints?

If so, and if you are willing to answer some pre-flight questions, a new federal program to be added at Los Angeles International Airport next year will allow you to move more conveniently through the screening process.

The program is called PreCheck, and John S. Pistole, who heads the Transportation Security Administration, announced at a congressional hearing Wednesday that it will be expanded to McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas in December and LAX and Minneapolis-St. Paul in early 2012.

At LAX, the program will initially be limited to American Airlines passengers, but it is expected to be expanded to other carriers serving U.S. cities.

PreCheck allows U.S. citizens and members of the federal "Trusted Traveler" program to be questioned by federal officials before domestic flights. If qualified, passengers become eligible for expedited screening at the terminal, TSA officials said.

"Because we know more about these passengers," Pistole said, "TSA PreCheck travelers are able to divest themselves of fewer items, which may include leaving on their shoes, jackets and light outerwear as they proceed through security screening."

Pistole, who addressed the Senate Commerce Committee, said PreCheck will allow the TSA to devote more resources to checking high-risk passengers and travelers the agency knows little about.

He said, however, that PreCheck travelers would still be subject to TSA's random searches and unpredictable security measures throughout the screening process.

At LAX on Wednesday, Monica Casperino said she has traveled from her home in Maui to Cancun, Virginia and Los Angeles this year with her two young children and all their gear. She knows the inconvenience of removing her kids' shoes at checkpoints and pushing their stroller through airport body scanners.

Expedited screening, Casperino said, would "give us more time and less stress."

In October, TSA began testing PreCheck at four airports across the country: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County, Dallas/Fort Worth International and Miami International. American and Delta Airlines are participating.

TSA officials said about 45,000 passengers have gone through the process, and the initial experience has been favorable.

Sen. Barbara Boxer, (D-Calif.), a member of the Commerce Committee, welcomed the expansion of the program, saying it could help boost tourism in California at a time of high unemployment.

"In California," Boxer said, "the travel and tourism industry employs more than 800,000 Californians. A 2010 survey found that more than 60% of travelers would take two to three more trips a year if the hassles and screening could be reduced without compromising security."

Brain out

Poor Governor Parry. He knew he wanted to fire all the people in the departments of education and commerce, but, try as he might, he could not remember that he wants to fire the people in the Dept. of Energy too. This was probably just a mind lapse due to the stress of the situation. But, if you are getting fired, you want the boss to have considered it hard and to know who you are and what you do. Republicans are starting to feel more confident in Romney.

The end of non-corporate medicine?

It is not news that stores want to control health care, as we see with the flu shot clinics and other medical programs popping up. Since people already go shopping, should "medical centers" be in the big shopping locations? Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and more, say yes. Remember, they will be claiming your insurance money and your tax money. Doctors will all become employees who can be terminated, if the boss is upset. Because foreign doctors will work for less, you may find American doctors unemployed and your new doctors may all be foreign. Corporations will have access to all of your private information. And if you have a dispute, you, as an individual, may be fighting Walmart.
==================================================
Walmart -- the nation's largest retailer and biggest private employer -- now wants to dominate a growing part of the health care market, offering a range of medical services from basic prevention to management of chronic conditions like diabetes and heart disease, according to a document obtained by NPR and Kaiser Health News.
In the same week in late October that Walmart announced it would stop offering health insurance benefits to new part-time employees, the retailer sent out a request for information seeking partners to help it "dramatically ... lower the cost of healthcare ... by becoming the largest provider of primary healthcare services in the nation."
But by midafternoon Wednesday, the retailer issued a statement saying its own request for information was "overwritten and incorrect." The firm is "not building a national, integrated low-cost primary health care platform," says the statement by Dr. John Agwunobi, a senior vice president. On Tuesday, Walmart spokeswoman Tara Raddohl confirmed the proposal but declined to elaborate on specifics, calling it simply an effort to determine "strategic next steps."
The information request begins with the exact wording that Agwunobi says is incorrect, saying Walmart “intends to build a national, integrated, low-cost primary care healthcare platform.” The request goes on to ask firms to spell out their expertise in a wide variety of areas, including managing and monitoring patients with chronic, costly health conditions. The goal it says is for Walmart to become “the largest provider of primary healthcare services in the nation.”
The document spells out a tight timeline. It was issued to an unknown number of “strategic partners” on October 21 and final vendor selection is set to take place on January 13.
Analysts said Walmart is likely positioning itself to boost store traffic -- possibly by expanding the number of, and services offered by, its in-store medical clinics. The move would also capitalize on growing demand for primary care in 2014, when the federal health law fully kicks in and millions more Americans are expected to have government or private health insurance.
"We have a massive primary care problem that will be made worse by health reform," says Ian Morrison, a Menlo Park, Calif-based health-care consultant. "Anyone who has a plausible idea on how to solve this should be allowed to play."
In-store medical clinics, such as those offered by Walmart and other retailers, could also be players in another effort in the health law: encouraging collaborations of doctors and hospitals who want to win financial rewards for streamlining care and lowering costs. Such collaborations, known as "accountable care organizations," might contract with in-store medical clinics, says Paul Howard, a senior fellow with the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research. He has studied retail clinics, some of which have recently expanded to offer services beyond simple tests and vaccinations, such as helping monitor patients with diabetes or high blood pressure.
Walmart's request goes even further, asking possible partners to provide information on how they would oversee patients with complicated chronic conditions, including asthma, HIV, arthritis, depression and sleep apnea
While Walmart's efforts to partner with others on health care could help lower costs for some patients and increase access to primary care services, health policy experts also say it raises questions.
Will expansion of in-store clinics, for example, further fragment care in the U.S. by drawing patients away from their established primary care doctors?  Would patients who need specialists fall through the cracks? Will patients seen by nurses or physician assistants at in-store clinics have just as good outcomes as those seen by doctors in more traditional practices?
"Maybe Walmart can deliver a lot of this stuff more cheaply because it is an expert at doing this with other types of widgets, but health care is not a widget and managing individual human beings is not nearly as simple as selling commercial products to consumers," says Ann O'Malley, a physician and senior health researcher at the Center for Studying Health System Change, a nonpartisan Washington think tank.
And will it save money?  Because primary care services are not the main driver ofhealth care costs in this country, "I would be surprised if this were a model that could truly attack cost problems," says O'Malley.
Whatever it does to health costs, it may also be a way to boost foot traffic and sales in Walmart stores, says Colin McGranahan, a retail analyst for Sanford C. Bernstein & Co.
"Their traffic has been declining for over two years and they've been losing market share," McGranahan says. "If you get someone in the door, you can also sell them milk and a shotgun."
CVS/Caremark, Walgreen's, Kroger, Target and others have recently reinvigorated efforts to open in-store medical clinics. The first such in-store clinics opened in 2000, but growth took off later in the decade.
Until recently, Walmart was the nation's leader in opening such clinics, but has dropped to third place with about 140 such clinics, well behind industry leader CVS Caremark's nearly 550 Minute Clinics and Walgreen's 355 Take Care clinics, according to data tracked by Tom Charland, CEO of Merchant Medicine, a Minnesota-based research and consulting firm. About 1,300 store-based clinics are open nationwide, he says.
They have different business models. Walmart leases space to independent vendors, for example, while CVS owns and staffs its Minute Clinics.  While a few centers operated by retailers have doctors on site, most hire nurse practitioners or physician assistants to provide the care.  In 2007, Walmart CEO Lee Scott announced the firm would open 400 clinics by 2010.
But early efforts backed by venture capital money faltered and the firm failed to reach that number, says Charland. Walmart then switched strategies and began leasing to hospital systems primarily and it began to grow again. Still, last month, the firm appeared to be struggling: Walmart opened three in-store clinics, but closed 10, says Charland.
"This is an industry where people haven't figured out how to make money," he says.  Hiring nurses isn't cheap - and business can be seasonal:  more people come in during the cold winter months and business can slow to a crawl in the summer.  "My guess is the whole purpose of [Walmart's] request for information is to find someone to help them because they've not been able to pull it off."
CVS, which has run Minute Clinics since 2006, expects to break even for the first time this year, says Helena Foulkes, a CVS executive vice president in charge of strategy and marketing. It plans to keep opening clinics and is doing so at a clip of about 10 a month.
"We think the market will evolve so this will become a more important model," says Foulkes.
