Loraine Goodwin has 2 doctorates – medicine and law. She is a certificated Community College Professor (biology, physiology, zoology). Her law degree-Juris Doctorate for arbitration and mediation; Medical Doctorate for women’s health, preventive medicine and mental health counseling. In 2006, she was elected to the Madera Unified School Board. Masters in Governance 2010.
Goodwin will focus on jobs for CD 19 to get the economy moving. Goodwin will work with Elizabeth Warren in Washington, D.C., to get the credit and cash for businesses, entrepreneurs, and families. Goodwin will fight mortgage fraud. Her family has been in farming in Fresno for generations and she will ensure water for our farms. Goodwin will showcase and improve our CD 19 schools and economy. Goodwin established the Madera Unified Farm-to-School Program in 2007, which will bring in $450,000 in

federal funds for our local farmers this year, while helping Madera students and increasing jobs. Goodwin will promote community wellness and our great valley lifestyle.
Denham has refused all community debates – so CD 19 residents are deprived of a comparative informed choice. Denham told the Fresno League of Women Voters he will not debate Goodwin. Denham has been using the excuse “he’s in DC” to hide from CD 19 voters, while seen by others locally. Denham lives in Salinas/Atwater. Goodwin is the only candidate who lives and works in CD 19. She will focus on CD 19 residents to ensure success. Goodwin believes in honesty and transparency.
