I think all members of Congress - both House and Senate - should have pay and benefit cuts and a public spending cap. All of the saved money should go to reducing the federal debt. Even if the amount does not seem huge, every penny counts. It is symbolic for Congress to sacrifice and support average Americans, and stop living "high on the hog" using our tax money.
